Dimensions: 90 x 75 mm.
Material: Period-accurate glossy paper stock, characteristic of Baltic industrial beverage packaging from the late 20th century.
Condition: Excellent, unused mint condition specimen (never applied to a bottle). It features crisp edges, full color saturation, and shows no signs of adhesive residue, tearing, or fading, as documented in the reference image img20260514_18181841.jpg.
The label features a well-balanced corporate color-blocked composition divided into three primary horizontal fields:
Top Section (Blue): Contains the technical product specifications, including the alcohol content (ALK. 4,7 TILP. %) and volume (0,5 L). It prominently features the circular trade emblem of the brewery, displaying a traditional cooper assembling a barrel, enclosed by the text "ALUS DARĪTAVA ALDARIS LATVIJA ANNO 1865" over oak leaves and barley ears.
Central Section (Red): Features the iconic, flowing white cursive "Aldaris" brand logotype.
Bottom Section (Blue): Displays the product variety name "Pilzenes" in a distinct white Gothic/Fraktur style font with a red outline. The product name is overlaid onto a light blue script background text highlighting the premium quality and heritage of the brewery.
This label dates back to the post-Soviet modernization and expansion era of the Latvian beverage industry during the late 1990s. The "Pilzenes" (Pilsner) style lager remains one of the most traditional and enduring light beer varieties in the region. Established in Riga in 1865, Aldaris Brewery is recognized as one of the oldest and most historically significant industrial brewing facilities in Latvia, making its mid-to-late 90s packaging highly collectible.
