WWII German “Der Stahlhelm” gorget breastplate issued to members of the Der Stahlhelm veterans organization, later incorporated into the SA. This example is marked “Ortsgruppe Glatz”, indicating local group affiliation.
The gorget features the characteristic steel helmet emblem, crossed spears, and green enamel oak-leaf detailing, mounted on a curved metal base with original cloth backing and fastening hooks. Such gorgets were worn on the chest during parades, official events, and organizational duties.
