This is an WWII German 1938 “Der Stahlhelm” Wettkampfsieger Tinnie Badge, awarded to marksmen and veterans during pre-war shooting competitions.
The badge is finely detailed, featuring a German helmet at the top, crossed rifles and an Iron Cross at the base, surrounded by an oval oak leaf wreath — a symbol of marksmanship and honor.

Constructed of stamped aluminium with a black wool backing and a horizontal pin system, this example bears the maker’s mark “LN” on the reverse.
